Ok so the price might seem a little steep, but the way I figure it I could easily spend a lot more than the price of this little gem on my daily two cups of espresso at the major retailer. You know the one that has a location on every major corner. The Jura-Capresso 13214 Impressa Z5 is well worth the price in my opinion.

I am addicted to coffee and love a hot cup in the morning on my way to work and another on the way home in the evening, and I used to stop and spend $8 a cup for my cappuccino. The way I figured it I was spending almost 250 dollars a month on coffee. I had paid for this machine and was saving money on my daily coffee habit in only a few months.

I may be the exception, perhaps the average person does not spend this much on coffee, but even if you spend a third of this, I recommend this machine to you. I simply stress that you do not think of the upfront cost of this machine, but rather remember the old adage that you get what you pay for. I truly feel that I got my money out of it I very short order.

I also think about the convenience that this espresso machine provides. I no longer need to find a place to park, wait in line, and ask some employee behind the counter for a tongue twisting beverage.

I make the coffee in the morning, have some before I get out of the house and find I am not nearly as grumpy during my morning commute. I think my boss has also noticed that I am actually awake when I enter the door and not hugging onto a Styrofoam cup in hopes of getting through the morning.

I will not try to profess that this is the epitome of the coffee machines, that it does not have any faults, because I would be toying with fantasy. I will tell you that this machine produces a nice cup of coffee and espresso. I am particularly fond of the grinding mechanism; I have used some machines that provided a bit more of a challenge in this area.

I do think that learning to froth with this machine was more difficult than passing chemistry as a freshman in high school. However once you get past the initial training period you can master this. I am also fond of the way this machine is easy to clean. I also feel that the instructions for routine maintenance and the process were relatively easy.

My only other grip would be that it could use a bigger reservoir and the hopper could hold more also, but like I said earlier I consume a large amount of coffee, I also like to entertain company and provide fresh espresso or Irish coffee's and my friends tease that they come over just for the coffee. I suppose without this coffee maker I would be much lonelier. Thanks for making a great product.
